AIR-DRIVEN HANDPIECES · NATIONWIDE MAIL-IN REPAIR

High-speed handpiece
repair.

A worn bearing, a damaged turbine assembly and a chuck that will not hold a bur can call for different repairs. We assess your handpiece, explain the options and help you decide whether to rebuild the turbine or replace it.

Find the guide for your brand.

The full model, head size and chuck style matter when choosing parts. Start with the brand guide, then record all markings and the serial number on your work order.

Describe the problem before choosing a repair.

Tell us about reduced power, unusual noise, vibration, bur retention, water spray and lighting. A light or spray problem does not automatically mean the turbine needs replacement.

If a handpiece overheats or does not securely hold its bur, stop using it and arrange an assessment. Do not keep using it just because it still rotates.

Record each handpiece separately so the estimate and warranty history can be matched to its serial number.

High-speed repair questions.

Do I need to know whether the turbine or bearings failed?

No. Describe the symptoms and choose an estimate first if you would like to review the recommendation. Inspection determines which components can be reused and which need replacement.

Does a bearing rebuild include a new chuck?

A standard bearing rebuild services the existing turbine. A complete new turbine includes a new chuck. Tell us about any bur retention issue so we can evaluate the chuck before recommending the repair.

How soon can I get it back?

Call with your model and deadline before shipping. Shop time depends on the repair and parts availability, and transit time is additional. We can discuss the current schedule when you contact us.
